OUR HISTORY
JUAN ORENDAIN CARDENAS. Was born on June 12, 1920 in Ixtlán del Rio, Nayarit and died on November 13, 2005. He was the eldest of two children of Beatriz Cárdenas Jaime and Juan Orendain Montes, very young he left his hometown to take care of the family due to the premature loss of his father.
On his way, he toured several cities in the Republic, to finally settle in Mexico City, where he made an important career in the field of bars, cabarets and restaurants, having started from the most humble jobs until he became the owner of very famous places in his time.
In 1954 he married María de la Luz Munguía Hernández (1924-2001), born in Mexico City, with whom he had 7 children, whom he showered with love, teachings and experiences. He was a man of his time, a good son, a good brother, a good husband and a good father. He was a strong, generous and wise man, who extolled his name and his history.
This Mezcal has been named 1920, 101 years after his birth, as a way to honor his legacy of love, integrity, wisdom and loyalty.
